Roof repairs
Keeping an eye on your roof and having a qualified roofer carry out regular maintenance checks could prevent a costly reroof in the future. No roof lasts forever, it doesn’t matter how well it has been installed or what materials have been used, eventually, all roofs will require either a repair or a replacement.
Roof problems can range from leaks to storm damage
Roof surveys often pick up issues with the chimney, our team of roofers have a track history of successful renovations of Chimney stacks, this can include repointing the chimney stack, flaunching the top of the chimney, where the mortar has become cracked and is letting water in, and capping to prevent water and birds from accessing the chimney. Finding a leak in your property where the chimney breast is located is usually the first sign the chimney needs to be investigated.

Contact our office and speak with one of our customer team and we can book you in for our Roofing Director to come and visit your property and investigate the damage to your roof.
Wear and tear on your roof
Over time roofs can deteriorate and cracks can appear in your flat roof or on your slates or tiles, these can eventually lead to water ingress which can cause damage to your roof but also in your loft space or into your home. It is important to get a competent experienced roofer to come and assess the roofing issue to avoid further damage to your property.
Experiencing dampness in your loft space
Roofing issues aren’t always caused by a roof leak, but there are measures you need to take to make sure you are getting enough ventilation into your loft space to avoid a build-up of condensation causing dampness in the loft.
- Ensure your bathroom ventilation goes out of the loft space and is correctly installed.
- Make sure you have good insulation in your loft to prevent as much of the heat from escaping into the loft.
- Make sure you have ventilation in your loft space: this can be achieved by installing tile or slate vents, fascia or soffit vents.
